pick up your ears: to listen very carefully
Example: The children pricked up their ears when they heard the word biscuit.

Piece of Cake: something that is very easy to do
Example: The new project is a piece of cake for us.

Pig in a Poke: A deal that is made without first seeing or examining it or finding out if it is good
Example: When you buy something through internet, you may be getting a pig in a poke.

Pig Out: to eat a lot or too much and eat it quickly
Example: We do have many experiences in a pig out on junk food during holidays.

Practice Makes Perfect: said to encourage someone to continue to do something many times, so that they will become better.
Example: 'Practise makes perfect' has been revealed as the nation's most influential saying by the new poll.

Pulling One's Leg: is not true as a way of joking or deceive someone playfully
Example: They decided to pull the customer’s leg by telling him that they wanted to have a test.

Put a Sock in it: to tell noisy person to stop talking or to shut one's mouth.
Example: Could you please tell him to put a sock in it? I'm trying to work here.

Put the Wool over other people's Eyes: to deceive someone in order to prevent them from discovering something.
Example: Don’t try to put the wool over people's eyes, they're smart enough.
