Phrasal Verb: plug, point

plug in means connect it to the electricity supply. (e.g. The TV does not work because you have not plugged it in.)
point somebody/ something out means indicate with finger (e.g. she pointed out that his van had been in the car park all day.)
point something out (to somebody) means drew attention to something (e.g. I feel I should point out how dangerous it is.)
