to + Infinitive (3)

G. After dare you can use the infinitive with or without to.
G1. but after dare not (or daren’t), you must use the infinitive without to.

H. After some verbs you can use a question word (what/ whether/ how etc.) + ‘to ~’. We use this structure especially after: ask, decide, know, remember, forget, explain, learn, understand, wonder
H1. Also show/ tell/ ask/ advise/ teach somebody what/ how/ where to do something.

I. Verbs are followed by to ~ (infinitive). (e.g. We expected to be late. (verb + to ~). We expected Dan to be late. (Verb + object + to))
I1. Do not say ‘want that’ (e.g. Do you want me to come with you? (not Do you want that I come?))
I2. After help you can use the infinitive with or without to.
