Verb + Preposition: on

I. depend/ rely on ~, You can use depend + when/ where/ how etc. with or without on; live on money/ food; congratulate/ compliment somebody on ~ (e.g. We rely on their assisting us.)
I1. concentrate on ~; insist on ~; spend (money) on ~ (e.g. If you make so much noise I can’t concentrate on my work.)
I2. The film is based on the novel by Boris Pasternak. Come on! We’re relying on you! We don’t agree on anything but we’re good friends.
I3. congratulate/ continue/ go/ insist/ intend/ keep/ plan on ~ (e.g. We congratulated them on winning. He continued on sleeping all day. Will you go on working? He insists on coming too. They intend on waging war. We keep on working. She plans on taking a course.)
