Uncountable Noun

C. Uncountable Nouns often refer to:
a. substance: food, bread, iron, etc.
b. human feelings or qualities: anger, cruelty, happiness, honesty, pride, etc.
c. activities: help, sleep, travel, work, etc.
d. abstract ideas: beauty, death, fun, life, etc.

C1. do not use Uncountable Nouns in the plural and with the indefinite article, 'a' or 'an'. (e.g. That's useful information.)

C2. can use some Quantifies with Uncountable Nouns. (e.g. He gave me some useful advice.)

C3. Some common Uncountable Nouns have plurals meaning: accommodation, advice, baggage, equipment, furniture, homework, information, knowledge, luggage, machinery, money, news, traffic, etc.

C4. Uncountable Noun with expressions can be used as the Countable: a piece of ~, pieces of ~, a bit of ~, bits of ~, an item of ~, items of ~. (e.g. Let me give you a piece of advice.)
a. I'd like a coffee please = I'd like a cup of coffee. I prefer white wines to red. = I prefer different kind of white wines to red.
b. but we do not use accommodation, money and traffic in this way.
